Here at Picnic Creek the focus in the Early Years is developing students fundamental movement skills; which includes running, jumping, throwing, catching, developing coordination, balance and strength. Our lower grades partake in a swimming block to promote water safety.

In the Upper and Lower years there is a focus on teamwork, communication and cooperation to assist our students in developing positive relationships with their peers.

In the Upper Years the HPE curriculum continues to build upon the foundation laid in the earlier years, focussing on refining skills and teaching sport specific skills so that they can engage in a wide range of sports. Students play a variety  of team games and we provide a  wide range of lunchtime clubs for example soccer, futsal, football, AFL and netball. They take part in inter-school sport and a variety of tournaments so that they can apply and develop their skills and display sportsmanship. Our aim is to promote a lifelong participation in physical activity.
