The Preparatory Year is an exciting time for families, and we look forward to welcoming your child to Picnic Creek State School. All Queensland children of eligible age are required to attend a full-time Preparatory Year of education before starting Year 1. To enrol in Prep, children need to turn five by 30 June in the year they start. Your child's first year of school marks the beginning of a wonderful educational journey, and we are thrilled to be part of this important chapter in their lives.
